Thinking of buying. I'd love to see some of the new reg cab short beds to give me an idea. Not sure exactly which trim I'd go for yet. I'll definitely be sticking to the reg cab short bed though.

There is one guy out there, seen his post before, he's got a blueflame reg cab short box 09 blueflame stx with mud grapplers on it. The STX looks sweet with the PTM bumper and grill surround and with the bigger tires it gives the truck a wicked stance...looks like an ATV.

I should probably take a picture with some of the changes I made, but here is the truck from the day I 'adopted' her.

Is that a '10? I noticed it has the old style XL wheels...Nice truck. I like reg cab short boxes. They look more sporty to me

Yep, she's an '09. The lowest base model model you can get (no power in the doors, 4x2, 4.6 2v engine). No options. Sticker was around 21k, but it was literally the last day of the month, and there was some sort of 'bounty' on my Dodge trade in. I don't remember exactly where I ended up, but it was around 16-17k with my almost worthless '98 trade and incentives back in July. Just missed Clunkers by 30 days.

The rims have my snow tires on them now, and I am getting a new set of rims in the spring. May muck with the exhaust too.

My father got an '09 crew cab at the same time, and while his has the new engine (4.6 3v), mine seems much more nimble. His is faster, but mine seems more responsive.
