Need Help w/ Rear Lift(Look @ Pic)
I put on a 2" leveling kit in the front and now it looks like the back is lower. I want to raise the back but I don't now what I need to buy. I plan on buying it off ebay but I'm confused as to how the inches work. For example if I buy a 1" lift block/U-Bolt kit will that lift it 1" or drop it one inch? Is it 1" higher than what my truck is at now? Or is that 1" block lower than the way the truck came from FORD? Please help guys. Thanks.

preluder5,
How did you make out. I have an '09 SuperCrew that I put a 2" AS spacer kit and mine also ended up higher in the front by an inch. I'm trying to find the 'easy' way out also. Probably pulling it back out and installing a 1-1/2" spacer will cure the problem but that will get expensive with having to go through the realignment and headlight adjustment (which still isn't correct). I was told that there is a ProComp spacer kit we can get that consists of 1/4" spacers that will build up to 1". I haven't checked on prices yet or where to find them. I'd like to hear about what you do.

On the 09-10 trucks the the rear block that comes stock is 1.5" tall. Whenever most guys try to re-level the back end, they typically go to a 3" block and totally remove the stock one... It is not really recommended to stack "lets say" a 1.5" block on top of the stock on. Better to replace with a 3".
The next option is an Add-a-leaf. This is what I did (after my 2.5" level). most AALs raise the rear of the vehicle around 1.5" but will sag back down a little over time. It will also increase the ride firmness. I really like the additional firmness the AAD added and would recommend the AAD especially if you tend to tow or haul often. I bought a Procomp Long add-a-leaf, sorry no part number for it though.
Here is my truck with 2.5" AS level before and after the Add-a-leaf.

Very good point. I was told that the FX2 (Non-4WD) DO NOT COME with any BLOCKS. The FX4 does have a 1.5" block in it but can anyone confirm that the FX2 (based on the XLT model), can anyone confirm that the FX2 doesn't have a block in it? If that's the case then I guess I would only need to buy a 1.5" block to level with the front. Thanks guys, please help out because I would hate to buy the wrong block. You all are the best! let me me know

This might sound like a silly question, but what does RAKE AFTER LEVEL mean? Also, the comment after you by Lighting, what is the difference between Shackles and Blocks? Which one is better or are they the same thing but different name?

before you leveled it the front was lower and gave the truck "rake" which you got rid of by leveling. now if you feel that the front is higher "bulldog" or cali lean you can do an AAL or add a block to the rear. the size of the block depends on how much higher you want the rear. ie 1" 2" etc.
