I was about to order the Grille from Tasca, they do not seem to know if the Grille is paint to match or not,I believe the 2010 Harley comes in two exterior colors( TUXEDO BLACK - LAVA RED METALLIC)- so it has to be paint to match, you would think, or has to be ordered under one of the two available colors,which there order guide does not show . I would prefer if it was PTM-- it would make it easier for me, and would most likely mean the Grille( the chrome part) and surround,(the painted part) are two seperate pieces which would make it easier for painting.Any info would be appreciated.

When I bought my harley grille for my 04 it came with the outer surround black, because on the harley trucks are black, so most likely it is gonna come with whatever color they are using. On my 04, the grille is all 1 piece, I'm not sure how the 09's are.

 

I have swapped the last two trucks I have owned out with the Harley Grille my 2003 and my 2006.I am quite aware that those models came in just the one color( I think the 08 might have had two color choices). The point I am trying to make is the 2010 has two color options- Tasca does not show it ordered with the color code, or the paint too match option. The reason the paint to match option is important is it will give me an indication as to whether the grill is in two pieces,or can be seperated at all which will make it much easier to have repainted.

 

Will 1 of the 2 options be the same color as your truck, if not either way its gonna have to be painted, I doubt its a 2 piece grille.

 

No I have Sand White-- Two Piece Grille Meaning is the surround(the painted part) able to be seperated from the Grille the (chrome part) the way it was on the last two generation Harley trucks.
