How much did you pay to lift your truck 6" and few other ?'s

Gents (Ladies too),

What I'm looking for is a breakdown of what brand and model you got and how much you paid for the following:

1. Lift kit
2. Tires
3. Wheels
4. Labor / Installation

Additionally, have you had any problems since the installation? Have you noticed any drastic changes in the ride quality? How has your average mpg been affected?

Here's a breakdown, since I'm at Bragg as well, it should be a relatively good comparison.

BDS 6" Lift, 20x9 XD Addict Wheels, 35x12.5R20 Nitto Trail Grapplers

Lift $2100
Wheels $800
Tires $1240
Install $850
Mounting/Balance $100
Alignment $100

The truck handles very similar to the way it did before. No excessive body lean or a bouncy ride. The Roll Stability Control, however, is a bit annoying. When turning, if there is even a slight bump at speed, the RSC reacts, applying the brakes. Hopefully a tuner can solve this problem.

*On a side note*

I 100% DO NOT recommend Wilson Offroad. They really screwed up my alignment after the install. It wore down my two front tires horribly after just 2500 miles. When I took it back to Wilson to have them replaced they refused. The guarantee they say they have is BS. The exact words from the owner, "All of Division is deployed...I don't have $600 to replace your tires. Just take me to court!"

Check out Performance Off Road on Reilly.

my quote is pretty close to yours for price. i would get another reputable shop do your adjustments and compare to theirs. then take them to court or better yet..file a complaint with the BBB. that will freak them out pretty bad. the install job for me was only going to cost me $320 instead of the $800 you were quoted. this was for a 6" kit through les schwab.

I just left Bragg. I got my truck lifted in Virginia. Pungo offroad.
6" skyjacker and install abut 2200 wheels and tires another 2200.
Wherever you go stay away from those clowns on Reily rd. They are located in the same parking lot as brooklyn Pizza. I had my Tacoma leveled there and they just didn't get it done on time then tried to over charge me for an alignment.

Thanks for the responses guys. I was stationed here previously and I've heard all about the workmanship and customer service issues surrounding the two off-road shops in town. I decided to venture up to 4WheelParts in Raleigh to get all of my parts. Here's a list of what I ordered and how much I'm paying.

LIFT - 6" Pro Comp Stage II ($1,500.00)
WHEELS - 20x9 bronze XD Hoss ($959.96)
TIRES - 35x12.50R20 Pro Comp Xtreme A/T ($1299.96)

Additional Parts/Services/Installation
PARTS & LABOR WARRANTY - 3yr/36k miles ($295.00)
TIRE WARRANTY - All four ($139.07)
SHIM KIT - ($31.34)
NITROGEN - For shocks and tires ($30.00)
INSTALLATION - Mount & balance, installation, and alignment ($977.00)

Total - $5,232.33 excluding tax

Sounds like a good deal! I'm out at Ft Hood and about to lift my '10 FX4 supercrew. Already bought my wheels: 20x9 KMC Addicts in black and tires: 35 x 12.5 x 20 Toyo Open Country M/Ts! I've also just installed my N-fab nerf bars through 4wheelparts. Next comes the lift!

Have you found a fix yet for the RSC? I'm being told it is most likely due to an incorrect installation. I have a 2010 F-150 with a 6" BDS lift that I am having the same problems with. 5mph turn on a city street is activating RSC. The system is tied in with ABS, engine timing, and airbags. I don't see a programming fix coming for this anytime soon

I would suggest getting the correct tire size into the computer. I have a 6"BDS on my 2009 and reprogrammed with a Hypertech programmer for the 35's and I have had no problems. I checked with the dealer before I lifted and they said they could also reprogram for the 35's or 37's. I don't know if they truly can or not as I went a different direction with my own programmer.

No problems here either with a 6in bds lift and the traction control. My dealer installed mine and probably recalibrated for the tires with it. And the prices above are pretty good. Your only wiggle room would be the installation and alignment. I got mine done for almost nothing as a incentive for me to buy a brand new f150 fx4 from my dealer.

Fabtech 6in lift
nitto trail grapplers
xd badlands 20"
installed and aligned

4950

I am 100 percent satisfied with the way my truck turned out. It rides amazing and their are no ride changes at all and the trail grapplers are amazing. they ride so quiet and smooth. I had it all done at Carrs tire which is a local place here.

EDIT: also just a add on that i don't reccomend 4wheelparts for anything. They did a friend of mines truck a while back and it was terrible. The truck was not even aligned at all when they sent him out the door
