tires

Hello all I just picked up my 2010 F150 Lariat "sexy truck"
Im not a fan of the stock tires they seem small, what size can I go up to with the 2.5 AS kit and will I have to recalibrate the speedo?

i dont think u will need to recalibrate the speedo. you should do a search for your topic. there are tons of topics on tires with the leveling kit.

I would go with the 285/65/20 BFG A/T. There is another member on here that has the 2.5as and those tires and doesn't rub on anything. He also has a 1.5" add-a-leaf because the 2.5 as will make the front sit higher. I can't remember his name but maybe he will chime in. I will be installing my 2.5as and 1.5 AAL tomorrow evening and then too will be putting on these tires in the near future.

you could also go with a shorter shackle, or a bigger block, that way ride isnt affected by the aal, not this it will be that much stiffer, i belive with a 2.5 the biggest tire you could run is a 35x12.5, depending upon the backspacing of the rim.

if the tires are larger your speedo will indeed rear lower, you could get it recalibrated by ford..buy a SCT xcal to change the size, while your at it get it on the dyno and re-calibrate the truck for a few more happy ponies
