ok ok, before this gets out of hand, the level either way would look good, i went with a front spacer, but after words left me looking for rear blocks or an add a leaf to achive bring the back on line with the front. so no a drop schacle wont look bad just bake sure the replace ment wheels and tires fill the space 22" look good, and should complete the teenage drug dealer look nicely. lol im kidding i will be nice im sure

The drop shackles aren't too difficult to install. I had a set on my 07 and I installed them by myself. An extra set of hands would have been nice though. The part no. is the same for the 2009-2010 as the 04-08's so I assume the install would be pretty much the same. They come with a set of shims for the rear end to adjust the pinion angle and I installed those on my 07 as well, but i am not sure if they are required on the new trucks. I am still trying to decide if I want to put a set on my 2010 or not. The rear doesn't seem to sit as high on my 2010, or maybe it's just me.
What do you think?

^^ nice ride man. I can see a slight difference in the rear wheel well (say that fast 5x). the question is: is 2" the perfect reduction? I would hate to install those things and have it be too low or not lowered enough. do you happen to have any pics of your '07? might be a good reference point for me to see. and it's nice to know that all it would take is another buddy helping me out to install the shackles. should be pretty easy to find a teenage drug dealer around town to help me...

I'm also curious as to how difficult these would be to install by myself. Can't find any kind of install manual on their respective sites.
never done it my self but removal of the back axle is a fairly simple undertaking with the right tools, look at some of the add a leaf and replacing the rear blocks fourms that will give you an idea of the process and should get you moving in the right direction, best of luck. (the process is similar your jusr going down instead of up.)

2wd truck=Drop Shackles, short and fat smooth tread tires

4wd truck=Front spacer, Tall and wide mudders

Just my opinion. Both combinations make for a really sweet truck in my opinion.

I've had both.

Either raising or lowering with shackles/spacers is a very easy process.

I have raised my front with HBS 2.5" spacers and I am planning on putting in lift shackles this weekend with a buddy who has drop shackles on his. Same principle

So basically, I got 2.5" lift in the front and 1.5" in the back for about $120, and the truck should sit with an ever so slight rake
