I have searched and havent found my answer and Im sure it is something retarded I am missing somewhere.. but where is the wiring harness for the OEM controller? Its not on the back of the cubby hole and I cant find a harness for it anywhere under the dash. I have everything torn apart and ready to go back in if I can find the plug on the wiring harness. Its a 2010 FX4. It has the 7 and 4 pin connectors and everything works except the brakes of course, just pulled a car trailer today. Or is it because I dont have the upgraded tow package (bigger tranny cooler ect..)?

 

Ok, never mind. I am retarded. They did a good job at hiding it and then putting a cover over it to where it didnt look like the right plug. Sorry.

Did the same thing to me, lol. Everything I read said it was attached behind the cubby, but it was just under the dash below the steering column for me. They could have left an inch or so more slack in the line to route it up and connect it to the controller.
