Are your bars on the wrong side???? The step pad shouldn't be that far forward. Looks like if you switched sides they'd be spot on.

I'd rather have space to carry people when needed or to carry goods protected from the elements when not.

But for those with regular cabs with 8' box, my dad always had one in his driveway (it was his work truck). Not sure why my eyes now seem shocked to see that configuration but it's always interesting for me to see a regular cab with 8' box. I normally associate that configuration for work trucks so I see the long box as something uniquely long and the cabin space strangley shrunk when compared to todays's crewcab configuration. Nonetheless, it's all good.

Keep posting regular cab pics.
didn't mean to offend you. I guess it just depends on what the truck is used for. its interesting though, your comment: "the long box as something uniquely long and the cabin space strangley shrunk when compared to todays's crewcab configuration", really shows how times have changed. I feel the opposite way about the crew cab short bed - shrunken bed, elongated cab. anyway, to each his own. William K - very nice truck man

No that's what I thought too, Raptor said they're supposed to be lined up with the floor board for getting in witch is no problem IF I can open the door all the way. It's getting out thats a pain in the ****. If I switched sides then I'd (I mean the wife) have trouble getting in. I don't care for these at all, think I'll get some OEM boards.

Looks good! I like the regular cab trucks...especially with the short bed. So sporty!

Looks like I'll be watching for some of those then. Probably a little wider than mine to.

Yup, but only in the XLT. The STX is not available with the 5.4L and the FX4 and Lariat are not available with a regular cab. The only regular cab that is available with the 5.4L is the XLT, and it has the 3.55 gears with the shortbed. The 3.73 gears are only available with the long bed.
