My 2010 Reg Cab Pics, Am I The Only One With A Reg Cab?

Anyway here's my truck just waxed with NXT2. I have added Raptor Nerf Bars and a Truxedo Lo Pro Cover.

Looks nice. You got that red color to really pop.

Thanks hemigod, first time I ever used NXT...I like it. The only thing I don't like is the step bars...too narrow and I dont like the placement of the pad it's hard to use when getting out. I'm always stepping on the pipe instead of the pad.

Nice looking truck. As I was looking at it I was thinking with all the extended and crew cab trucks today how odd it is to see a regular cab long bed pick-up. 25 years ago that was what was primarly on the road. As the saying goes time marches on.

Not the only one. I've added DeeZee running & box boards; I'll post pix when it's clean.

Thanks for the compliments guys...I mostly just use the truck for back and forth to work and the kids are grown so I don't really need back seats. Maybe some day I'll get a little bigger wheels for it like off of a Platinum or something. I had aftermarket chrome wheels on my last truck and I got tired of taking them off every winter...a lot of salt up here in NW Indiana.

One of my favorite trucks on here is a regular cab.

This pic is of a truck owned by member Yo Nadz:

I've got a reg cab 4x4 too. I'll have to get some pics posted for this thread. For me, the regular cab with 8' bed is the ideal configuration. Personally, i don't get why so many people buy a truck with a short bed - it's got to be frustrating that you have a big ol truck, and can't even lay a sheet of plywood or sheetrock down in the bed and close the gate.

I'm upset you can't get the 5.4 in a regular cab anymore... Much less the 6.2.

Nope, it's not frustrating at all to have a truck with a short bed, let alone a crew cab. For me, I'd rather have the passenger space of crew cab over the regular cab with 8' bed. See, I'm not using my truck for construction work. I have no need to carry sheets of drywall or plywood but if I did, then it would be fine to lower the tailgate to carry such items. I'd rather have space to carry people when needed or to carry goods protected from the elements when not.

But for those with regular cabs with 8' box, my dad always had one in his driveway (it was his work truck). Not sure why my eyes now seem shocked to see that configuration but it's always interesting for me to see a regular cab with 8' box. I normally associate that configuration for work trucks so I see the long box as something uniquely long and the cabin space strangley shrunk when compared to todays's crewcab configuration. Nonetheless, it's all good.

Keep posting regular cab pics.

That wasn't true for 2009. Was this a change for 2010?
