3rd brake light, painters tape, and fusion

On a whim this weekend I took off my third brake light, put a little painters tape around it, and shot it with some gloss black Krylon Fusion. I am obviously not a pro painter but it came out alright, I think. Let me know what ya think.

The whole area around the screws and where it joins the truck is clear. Actually the whole thing is clear.

Make sure to get a few good coats of clear over top of it all. I did mine 2-4 yrs ago and it still looks like it did way back. I did multiple thin coats, wet sand in between.

Still baffles me after all these years why they continue to use those lights, looks altezza to me.
