My dad has an 09 Platinum and I have already outfitted his truck with LED interior lights and license plate lights. The only think missing is the puddle lamps. Does anyone know what it takes to replace these with LED. Is it just a bulb? If so what part number.

Heres a few pics from when I took his truck to arkansas, lol. Compared to my lifted 04, it was like riding on air, lol. Very impressive truck.

What's a puddle lamp?

 

I think there were a few people that did the conversion on the 04-08 models. I think it was RockPick, Jack and Janet, and tg150?

 

They are lights in the side mirrors that light up the ground. Lets you see if you are about to step out into a puddle.

 

Or a pile.

What lamps did you replace with LEDs in the interior?

 

I did the dome lamp and the two map lights up front. It made a HUGE difference. The light now matches all of the guages and everything and looks amazing with the platinum tan interiors. I just wish I could find a definitive answer to the puddle lamps in the mirrors. Im hoping they are just a bulb instead of having to cut apart the assembly and everything like on the 04-08 puddle lamps.
