Never Do Business With Autopartswarehouse.com

Okay, so I order vent shields for my 2010 FX4 SuperCrew, but they send me vent shields for an 04-07 SuperCab. I go back to the website to get the proper part number for what I need for an exchange. Well now the site says "We're sorry but items for your vehicle do not exist." Hey dumbass I ordered them last week from your site!

So I call them and get some no English speaking bean picker named "Juan" who wants to argue and tries to tell me that I don't know what kind of truck I have, and that the proper parts were sent. I tell him to transfer me to somebody else, and he says "We're not allowed to do that." Then he lies to me and tells me the site for returns was down and he couldn't process my request and that he would call me back in an hour. I didn't wait for his call and called back and got another person who again tried to tell me I don't know what kind of truck I have. However, I made it simple for him and just told him to set me up with a return authorization so I can send the item back. Screw the exchange. This guy did just that, and how funny it was that 30 seconds after talking to "Juan" the return site was back up and running. By the way, "Juan" never called me back.

Never doing business with them again.

That sucks. So they didn't have them for your truck for sure?

They had them on March 19th when I placed the order, at least the website said they had them.

When I ordered them I "registered" my truck with their site. This pulls up items specifically for your year and type of vehicle. When I went back to the site to look the item up again and get the part number to do an exchange, the site now says that vent shields for 09-10 F150's (all models) don't exist!

What really burned my butt was the clowns who instead of just saying "sorry we'll take the item back and refund your money" want to argue that I don't know what year and type of truck I own, and insist the proper parts were shipped.

Try another company like AutoAnything. Many of them will pricematch.

I've always had good luck with AutoAnything. They normally have low prices, and always have sales going on and free shipping.

I also order parts off autopartswarehouse, and never had a problem. 3 out of 1 had good feed back, does this tell you some thing??

That bites, and thanks for the info. By the way, what is a vent shield? If you mean vent shades, you should be happy they don't have them.

I had a similar issue with them. About 6 months ago I ordered an intake from them and after three weeks I had not received it. I call them up and ask them where it was and I was told it was on back order. They had no idea when it would be in stock. I asked them for a refund and I was told it would take 48-72 hours. I call back 5 days later because I had not received my refund. I finally got the refund about two weeks after the initial call. Very poor customer service and I will never do business with them again.

You got that right. Screw ups happen, but when they do you make it right for the customer.
