With the six-speed, the same impression could come from the standard 3.73. I believe the 4.10 is optional, a 3.73 e-locker, and a 4.30.
I read an artical that said the 6.2L in the Superduty was nothing as good as the late V-10. I was discouraged as I really would like to go with a new Superduty again sometime, but the diesel is just plain too expensive. Unless the mileage comes up on the diesels to the low to mid 20's, I'll probably stay gas. I am looking forward to the 6.2L reviews. I assume the Raptor (6.2L)wont be that tremendously different than what we could expect in an F-150... probably a better comparison than the heavy Superduty.

Check this out. I have read other reports of the new diesel getting mid-upper 20's under ideal conditions.

Did everyone notice the driver grab handle in those videos? Should make people happy who for some reason missed it on the current 150 model.

The 5.4 was always a "decent" motor. I had one in my 98 f150 w/nearly 200k and it ran like new.

A superduty in the low to mid 20's for MPG? That would mean an F150 in like the high 20's low 30's. That'd be insane. Right now the 150 is rated at 14MPG. That'd be some super impressive MPG gains. I'm not expecting even the EcoBoost to do much better than perhaps 20MPG at best for the 150, but I suppose we shall see.
How about 34 mpg?

Lets not get too excited: I think Motor Trend got 16.6 on real world driving in this comparo. Will be better than 08 -10, no one is debating that.
