I think we read the same article, in any event that site has typically tested the now old v10 with 4.10s and so yes 4.10 5 speed vs. 3.73 6 speed won't be too far off... But the article we read I think they were even flatter, need to find and re-read.

I read an artical that said the 6.2L in the Superduty was nothing as good as the late V-10. I was discouraged as I really would like to go with a new Superduty again sometime, but the diesel is just plain too expensive. Unless the mileage comes up on the diesels to the low to mid 20's, I'll probably stay gas. I am looking forward to the 6.2L reviews. I assume the Raptor (6.2L)wont be that tremendously different than what we could expect in an F-150... probably a better comparison than the heavy Superduty.
A superduty in the low to mid 20's for MPG? That would mean an F150 in like the high 20's low 30's. That'd be insane. Right now the 150 is rated at 14MPG. That'd be some super impressive MPG gains. I'm not expecting even the EcoBoost to do much better than perhaps 20MPG at best for the 150, but I suppose we shall see.

I read that today and the MPG report was not good but the truck is very new so the MPG should get much better. Just like all new trucks.

Yeah, and the 2V 4.6L should be the optional engine...

Check this out. I have read other reports of the new diesel getting mid-upper 20's under ideal conditions.

Nice. Reminds me of those same videos from the '09 150.

Did everyone notice the driver grab handle in those videos? Should make people happy who for some reason missed it on the current 150 model.

The 5.4 was always a "decent" motor. I had one in my 98 f150 w/nearly 200k and it ran like new.

Depending how this 6.2 goes, I'll prolly try to get one after college. I always wanted a Crew Cab Lariat Shortbed.

Hopefully they will announce it as a confirmed option in the 2011 150's, then I'll know what I'm saving for and the indecision will be over!

Lets not get too excited: I think Motor Trend got 16.6 on real world driving in this comparo. Will be better than 08 -10, no one is debating that.
