Ford Truck Month - better deals ahead?

In my area the (best) current incentive is $4500 on a Supercrew. New incentives (if any) start 6/2/10. Do you think this current incentive will remain, be worse or be better because it is Ford Truck Month (I was told June is Ford Truck Month)? I can't meet the 6/1 delivery date for the current incentive.

umm, it seems like just about every other month is "Ford Truck Month", lol. Likely you can ge the same out-the-door price next month as you can this month.

With gas going up to or over 3 bucks truck incentives will remain favorable. Plus they will be two thirds through the model year... 2010's will be last years model in September.

Truck month is every month dealers NEED to sell trucks. When I bought my 2008 in December of 2008 factory incentives were 9,000 off.

I think there are going to be some REALLY good deals out there shortly on all kinds of new vehicles. I've been looking fora deal on a certain somewhat rare vehicle lately and the dealerships call every five minutes. This was not the case a couple of years ago. I don't know if April was a bad month or what, but they seem desperate to sell vehicles right now, expecially the 2010s, and I'm not just talking about Ford. I would say a few months from now would be the time to buy if you haven't already.

Since they aren't selling the 2011's until late this year, I think Ford it trying to get people, who are waiting for the 2011's to come out during the summer, into the showrooms and buy a 2010.

Retail is still doing verry poorly right now, so if you show any interest in buying anything at all, prepare to be bombarded. Until retail starts recovering and stock prices go way back up to where they should be, it just is what it is.

If you want an '11, do not go into a dealership or indicate interest of any kind until then, unless you are prepared to deal with the salesmanship that comes with stopping in or doing something online that tags your name.

I don't think I've gone a single month without hearing "This month is Ford Truck Month, and you know what that means...big savings on your new Ford Truck!"
