Running Boards

Cleaning my truck today and noticed a bunch of scratches on my running boards. I have the chrome ford boards and it is the black piece that you step on that is scratched. Should they scatch so much, I only have 600 miles on the truck. Any products available to remove or cover them up?

Yeah, they'll scratch quite a bit with use. Even the chrome itself will get scratches and swirls. Mine are on their way to looking like brushed steel.

I don't know of anything that could take the scratches out of the black step part.

The black step pad at my drivers door had a good amount of scratches the day I picked it up, and it was a factory order. They do seem to scratch pretty easily.
