I would check with a dealership.
Sometimes you can get a clue from aftermarket, if their part numbers are different for the two years in question then they probably had to change design and the holes may not line up.
Or if you can obtain the OEM Ford part numbers for the two years and the only difference is the second digit(indicating year) then it may line up.
I think you are the first one here to question 2010 truck/old hitch.
