looks real nice, did you have to take the doors apart to do it? how was adding the film to the shifter? i am also looking at doing this mod....where did you end up getting the carbon film and did they have different kinds? i would like to get a "blackwood" film to replace the ugly brown woodgrain....

ok ill say it it looks friggin awesome.!!!!! definitely a nice change from the woodgrain look and looks like it fit very well. did you have any issues with the fitment or were the pieces large enough to where you had to trim them a tad?? curious as there have been some people with overlays here who had to deal with fitment issues and it did not cover the whole image they were going over and some of the original showed on the edges here and there.

dont forget the 3M primer

I am going to have to re rap the shifter and center console, the vinyl looked really good until the hot sun made it warp and wrinkle. all the really tight corners did not hold, i am going to have to use the 3M primer so that they hold.

I bought the 16 sq foot order from carbon fiber films, even with plenty of mistakes and the re raps i will have plenty left over to have as emergency spare or replacement.

Looks good OO, I saw it in the parking lot the other day - I think if I had black interior I would consider it too.

I wish I could find something in that pattern for my 05.

Thanks, it looked even better the day i did it! i didn't use the 3M primer so i am going to redo the nav bezel and shifter. some wrinkles showed up when the sun heated it up. I'm surprised you didn't notice them, they are driving me nuts!

Looks great thinking of doing the exact same thing did you have to take the doors and console apart or did you cover them in place?????

looks good. Ford really needs to get rid of that "wood" look or give people the option.

the wood was a major factor on not going with the lariat.
