Anyone else having issues with their cell phone not staying connected to the SYNC system?

Mine loses it's connection about once a month or so. It usually just requires that I turn off the phone and then turn it back on and then next time the truck starts up it finds it. A couple of times I have had to take the battery out of the phone to reset it and then go through the steps to set up the sync relationship again.

Thats kind of how mine is, it will catch the connection when I start it up but when I go to make a call it loses it. Sometimes in the middle of a call it will switch to the phone for no reason. What should I do?

I lose my connection if I leave my phone turned on in the truck when the truck is turned off. I lose connection if I haven't been in the truck for a couple days. I lose connection if the phone is in my pocket when I get in the truck. I lose connection if I don't turn the phone on until after I get in the truck. So in a word ...... yes!

Wow. I never lose the connection. One of the best things about sync, too, is that I never take my phone out of my pocket. I am quite pleased with the performance of my system.

No problems here. I even had it connect when the phone was still in my house and I was in the truck. it obviously disconnected when i pulled away though. It did disconnect after setting it up but that was the phones doing but after a minute i figured it out.

I had the same problem about a month ago. Kept saying "No phone found" I tried to re-sync and got the same message. After an hour or so I was about to give up. But I didn't. I deleted my phone in Sync, turned off my phone for about five seconds, then re-sync my phone. Got it, gave me the number to put in my phone and all was golden. I did this while the engine was running.

I had this problem when I changed to a Samsung Impression. The Sync fix was to turn off AUTODOWNLOAD of phone book. It has been rock solid ever since.

I just bought the new DroidX and it works perfectly, connects every time. The text message option even works with it.

Crackberry Storm and no problems. If the connection is lost cuz I don't drive my truck for a week sometimes, when I request 'phone', sync sez there is no phone connected but it will try to connect one. Then it works again and stays connected until I don't drive for another week.

I also have and HTC Incredible and have not had this problem. The only trouble I have had is if I forget to turn the Bluetooth on before I start the truck it doesn't always like to connect right away and I have to manually connect through the sync menu. But I have never had to relink it.
