Post A new Ford truck besides '12 F150?

It's not an F-150, but if they actually do something with the ancient relic that is the Ranger, I'm sure it would have ripple effects on other Ford vehicles, as all FMC vehicles do with each other, including the new F-150 in 2012.

If it does happen, should be interesting to see the MPG numbers. I still find it odd that the Taurus w/EB only gets 17MPG*, and it looks like the '11 F-150 w/EB will also get 17MPG*. I don't understand how a car can get such poor MPG if a huge heavy truck will be getting the same as it does.

since the 4.4L diesel wasn't shelved and is being used I would love to see it in the F150 in 2012. Increase the payload and I would sign up.

I did, I just assumed whoever posted the pictures reversed them by mistake- I've seen that done before, not sure how it happens, but it does.

That's because the T6 is being designed and developed by Ford Australia as a world truck.

I don't understand why they get the same city mileage either but isn't the Taurus pretty heavy too and all wheel drive? A lot of people are not understanding what the EcoBoost is supposed to do. The main benefit is the power of a V8 with the fuel economy of the a V6, not the best city fuel economy. The best fuel economy will probably be with the new V6 engine, but you won't have the power of the V8. I could be wrong but if all you care about is city mileage and nothing else like diesel like power, the EcoBoost F-150 probably won't be for you.

Last I heared, the F100 idea was dead... But I agree... An intermediate between the Ranger and the F150 would do well... The Dakota is kind of in a league of it's own... I'd never buy ont, but I see the need/desire for a smaller truck with a v-8 (or EB!).

The T6 is bigger than the Ranger.
