what does everyone think??

hey all, im in the process of turning my 2009 xlt into something more custom. i've posted the pics of my truck in my album, the title is black widow 2..haha. my mods so far are:

custom blackout heads and tails
PTM Mirror caps
PTM front and rear bumper, grille
nightshaded 3rd brake light
2'' level kit and 35" bfg mud terrains on stock rims..(jesse james black widow wheels comin soon)
15 % tint all around
also ive ordered a black roush overlay for the front ford emblem

in time, id also like to put a 4'' Rancho lift, with the red powdercoat and getting the front coil springs coated red to match the lift...

give me your guys(and gals) opinion of what ive done so far, ive taken alot of inspiration and ideas from everyones awesome rigs in this forum and would llove to know what y'all think..cheers

danny

i had the tails all dark at one point but the bulls gave me a warning about them being too dark so i had to go a different route...harley tails are just so expensive..so the nightshades job will have to do for now

Looks good so far.

I would black out the reflectors in the mirrors as well.

Looks awesome! Did you paint the insides of the headlights? If so, can you tell us how it went? I've been curious about painting the insides of my headlights as well.

The new setup looks good! But why did you ditch the all black taillights?

up here in the great white north, the cops are not too fond of black tails. i got a warning and had to change them...

as for my headlights, i did do them myself about 13 months ago. the process was tedious but well worth it..oem harley lights were not out at that time and i wanted that orange signal marker light black, so i decided to just do em myself. havent had any condensation or problems whatsoever. like i say, its not the easiest thing to get them apart, but once i did one the second one was a breeze. if only those damn tail lights would come apart

i also had my orange mirror reflectors blacked out but i found it wasnt enough contrast..i think the mirrors look better now back to normal. more super duty-ish IMO

DanDeal87, no problems with rubbing the 35's on only a 2" leveling kit? What width are they?
You said you couldn't pull the tail lights apart to paint, but they're black in the pics. Are those the HD tails? How did you pull the headlights apart? A little heat and prying?

Looks great! I would keep the wheels you have. They look better than the Jesse James wheels.
