My FlexFuel emblem is coming off, I got the truck new and the lettering on it was already peeling off, was gonna remove it anyway.

 

Just don't put the heat gun on the High (Paint Remove) setting. I'm guessing you could damage the clear coat (and base paint) with too much heat.

Warm it up a little bit at a time. You will be able to feel when the adhesive gets soft and loses its grip.
