Passenger AC help

i just bought a new 2010 F150 Lariat earlier this month and everything is absolutly perfect on it but one thing.... just these past few weeks i cannot get the passenger air vents to shut off even though i click the off button???? i have tried diffrent combinations as in max ac on/off recirculate on off auto air on off and it still blows air out of the vents... also when there off the passenger temp gauge goes off but when you turn it back on and change the temp it will change but will never shut off... is this normal? i thought i could turn passenger air off or on...

you do not physically shut off the passenger vents. you turn on and off the independent temp control of the passenger side. you can have 2 different temps coming out of the front vents if you have it on to suit individual comfort. in the off setting the air will come out of both sides at the same temp of the main setting. if you actually want the airflow to "stop" shut the vents.
