My bumper has had it for well over 3 years now and its looks like new. Black paint though so yellowing would be hard to see.

I put some of the 3M stuff on my 2003 F-150 when I bought it 7 years ago. No yellowing. Still looks great. I got a kit for about $125 and installed it myself. I did the front maybe 1 foot of the hood, the front part of the fenders to line it up, and the front 3" of the top of the cab. I also got pieces for the mirrors, but was hard to get it to cover well, so I never did them. Very pleased with the stuff.

You can see the edge of it from a few feet away, but that is it. Also, dust settles to make it more noticeable sometimes. curved pieces can be a pain, something I need to perfect if I put it on more vehicles. I have this picture from installation on the front fender part only:

anybody try any of this cheap stuff? its only $25 for precut front hood and
bumper film. Sure would beat a $500 for film and installation.
