I just used my fingers. Should be little resistance. Make sure seat is in the up position though- I could not get it when it was down. Maybe wiggle the seatback a little to get it to release - but the pin moves pretty easily.

mine seems to be welded shut or some thing i dont know maybee i am pulling the wrong thing? it is the pin in the first pick of this post with the zip tie wright?

Yeah - I will tell you that I was pulling really hard my first attempts - so if you are trying to move it the wrong direction it will not budge. I will take a look tomorrow and see if I can offer any insight.
