Need pictures of Bud Shields

Hello I have a 2010 Red Candy with Chrome package...so it has the nice grill and the top of the grill comes up about even with the front of the hood...I'm trying to decide if I want to get a Chrome bug shield or a Smoke one...but would like to see pictures...

I definitely don't want it to end up looking tacky like I've seen with some people having chrome vent shades (no offense but not my style...it's a bit much)

So if you have them please post. Thanks

Does that bug shield reduce the amount of insects that hit your windshield?

I just finished an 1800 mile drive between St. Louis and Boundary Waters in Minnesota. Had bug guts all over the front of my truck, trailer mirrors, and windshield. It was like they were on a kamikaze mission. Never had a vehicle get clobbered so bad on a trip... and we drove during the day only.

Spent about four hours cleaning them off but still didn't get everything yet.

It does help, but it's not going to eliminate them (nothing is).

3M PPF and a good coat of wax is the best way to 'protect' and ease bug removal.

Reminds me of the old joke...

Q: What's the last thing to go through a bug's mind when he hits the windshield?

A: His a$$.

I don't think they do anything at all for keeping bugs off of you windshield. I had one on my 2000 Taco and had plenty of bugs. It protects the hood from rocks and small debris.

Why not skip the ugly sometimes whistling bug deflector and go with a clear bra. It will give you more protection (bumper, headlights, hood) and the best part is that it is virtually invisible.
