Buying a new FX2 and have wheel question.

this is my 1st post in the 09-11 section...I will be spending alot of time here instead of the 04-08 because...

I am buying a new FX2. But I have some nice 20 in wheels on my 04 lariat that I want to keep.

Will the wheels from 2004-2008 fit on the 2010???

Can I put the TPMS sensors on aftermarket wheels?

I did not even think about those. My 04 did not have TPMS.

Cool plan. Will you swap tires with the new truck, or sell the new tires as 'new Take-offs?'

Actually the answer is, some do and some don't...the calipers on the 2010's are a little larger (thicker) and will rub on the center web sections of some rims IF they do not taper off at the right angle. I would think that 20" wheels would be less likely to experience any interference though. You'll have to install them to see for sure.

I probably will be selling the factory wheels and tires. But I need to get the the TPMS stuff figured out. I am not sure if I should remove the new ones or just get some more.

Any ideas on this are welcome.
