Got it home!

Well picked up my F150 SC XLT 6 1/2' Candy Apple Red with the bling package (chrome)bed last week, after a couple 100 miles, it is a sweet truck. It feels way bigger than my 02 F150 Ext cab, not just in length. The Sync thing is cool. Inside the cab is HUGE!

I will get some pics up.

Anybody ever take off those 4x4 decals on the rear fenders?

Post some pics. A lot of people take the decals off. Use your fingernail on an edge and slowly keep peeling it back. Works best on a warm day. Use some rubbing alcohol or goo gone to get rid of the excess adhesive on the truck, probably won't be much on a new truck. Wax area real well after cleaning and you're done.

Congrads on the new truck. I was debating the same thing with mine- about removing the 4x4 decals. They are generic-looking. My thinking so far has been if I do remove them, thats a whole lotta maroon truck without anything to break it up. I might just remove them and if after a few days I don't like it I can always get new or actually something a little more appealing.

I like those 4x4 stickers a lot. I'm surprised so many guys remove them.

yeah I had my FX2 stickers removed off my 07 a while back and thought it looked a lot better. I go back and forth on my 2010 taking off the 4x4. It isn't hard on a warm day they peel off, saw a guy use a hair dryer like a heat gun just don't get the paint to hot or it will hurt the paint then clean the area and throw some wax on it.

I like yours too, but the 09-10 are kinda generic-looking IMO.
EDIT: Wait, I mean I like your stickers better than mine, lol

Looks great. Another sticker remover here. I pulled mine off the second day I had it using a heat gun on low heat. 5 minute job.

True dat! Then there's wishy washy guys like me who, when I buy ice cream I get the half-chocolate/half-vanilla kind. Maybe if I get a 4x4 I'll remove the sticker from just one side only.
