Need an answer by morning if possible

Dad is ordering a KR in the morning. He wants to know if the full coverage rubber mats are color matched to the carpet or are they black? Also what are y'alls thoughts vs. the weathertechs?

The rubber mats should be color matched. I know it sounds stupid but I'm not sure how much "full coverage" is if that makes sense. The thing that I love about weathertechs are they are very nicely molded to the curves of the floor. The digital fit are great because the direct the flow of any water toward the door to drain when you open it. My FX4 rubber mats have to be taken out to drain and clean. Hope this helps.

I just ordered some WeatherTech's this week!

Went with black because tan and gray are too light IMO ... and the carpet is black anyways ...

Forget paying for the factory mats. Get the cheapest mats you can find or use some old one's short term and order some Weathertechs. The best mats I've ever used in a car or truck. I could care less what's on my shoes when I jump into my truck. Its not getting on the carpet.

The full coverage rubber mats are not full coverage. I got them with my truck and replaced them with Weathertechs, which are totally full coverage and more.

I have a KR and use generic tan colored rubber mats. Works well at a fraction of the cost of a brand name version.

It's rather interesting how many truck owners are concerned about protecting their carpets. I remember the days when trucks with carpet were only for sissies. How times have changed.

Yes, times have changed ...... A long time ago. Truck are more then work trucks. They multitask. Haul a load of gravel on Friday, pull a boat to the lake on Saturday, pick up your date Saturday night. Never did that .... 30 years ago.
I live in an area of the country that is very sandy and with everything I use my trucks for, standard mats will leave the carpet trashed. Not going to happen with the Weathertechs. Worth every penny I paid.

Strange. They must have changed them for 2010, because I ordered the Full Coverage Mats for my 2009 Platinum back in the day, and they are amazing and cover everything. My carpet hasn't seen a speck of dirt in over a year and a half of ownership.

Looks like Weathertech is making mats for Cabellas. The fronts are the exact same mat. Even the same price.

It's possible, but last I looked the Cabela's ones were cheaper.......could have been on sale or something though. I thought they were a little thicker/ more sturdy feeling too.

They are definitely the exact same mats. Weathertech makes Caballa's mats. Caballa's just puts their own sticker on them.

And at less than half the price.
