well... I'm not an expert, nor will I argue with those of you that are... I live in missouri. We have some ethanol plants in mid missouri. Which I figure it's supporting state economy.. There's a station 1/2 mile from my house. Convenience. . Results for me. On 87 octane I got 14.5(i do more city than highway) when I went to e85 I have been getting 13.3.. My cost 1.99gal for e85 avg 87oct has been 2.40-2.60. Based on my calculations it saves me $ to use e85. Like 8$ a week or something.neway just my 2pennies. I think it varies for your particular situation. I do notice that extra 10 hp tho.. Also- someone quote the ownersmanual for me. Oil changes are different intervals, every so many miles ur supposed to fill up with reg gas still like every 3k or soo. L8r

off subject..

That we did... The best way to decide, is just to try it for yourself and see if it works out best for you. Everyone drives differently, so give it a try and and let everyone else know what ya thought! Good topic for discussion though!

I've been tracking (just about) every tank of gas I've had in over 6K miles, with three or four fill ups of ethanol.

Before I will even consider E85, it has to be 70% of Unleaded or less. If you pay any more than 70% then you are definitely going to pay more for less.

Unless I'm mistaken, regular unleaded is E10 everywhere ("This fuel contains up to 10% Ethanol" sticker on the pump? I've seen it on EVERY pump)

...instead you drive food prices up using ethanol, and once the gov't subsidies end......yeah, well see......
