Goodbye Trixy...

After months of mods to get her just how I always wanted ...seemed I blacked out at the wheel for 4 or 5 seconds and then down a revene.....3 broken ribs and my best friend of 25 yrs is ok too....everything else in life is replaceable

We both walked out and Fire Dept commented they have seen more than a few miracles from the 09+ F-150

More Acc pics in albums.....Morphine kicking in...back to lazy boy right now

Dude, So sorry to hear about your accident. But VERY GLAD you and your friend are OK. Don't know if you are religious or not but I believe God had a hand in your safety. Prayers for a speedy recovery.

Good to hear you and your friend are reasonably well.
Take it easy, Relax, Heal.
Then run out and buy a 2011, The 3.5 sounds sweet

Blacked out eh?

I think the real reason you went into that ravine was those curtains were blocking your view.

So glad everyone is alive. Sorry for the loss of Trixy...
You got to get back over there and get that ford oval off of the grill... Nice keepsake for a memory that could have been much worse.

Everything happens for a reason and a purpose and it benefits you. Post again when you order your 2011 with the new engine and transmission. Take care.

Glad everyone got out alive. Another testimonial to the safety features we hope we'll never need but it's nice to know how well built our trucks are.

The passenger compartment looks in relatively good shape (compared to the rest of the truck). The truck did it's job it looks like. Going to get another one?

I see your in Vancouver.... I'm from Squamish, where did this happen?

You looked like you were lucky to walk away from that. The f150 does get some dam high safety scores but seeing that makes me more certain I picked the best truck made. Just Friday I see a 09/10 ram at the side of a road smashed to pieces. Pulled up prob seconds after it happened. The truck was a mess and I hope there was no passenger in that thing. The mini van that hit it was in less of a bad way than the truck. You may not be here if you was in another brand of truck.

I Remember Rolling

I woke up after the first roll and I think we went over 3 or 4 more times....I do remember the curtian bags going off and they did support my head ,The seat belt injuries hurt too but were worth it compared to the alternative.
We ended up drivers door down and when i released tension from seat belt coulda been when I broke rib 7,8,9, ....Fire Dept cut windshield or something and we both walked up the ravine to the road....Never had Morophine before but seems to suffice.......I have repacement cost insurance and want a 5.4l with everything the same. Gotta get back to Lazy Boy....past my 10 min break and ribs are grinding together again.
Here is the original article in the Newspaper of the Accident.

Thanks for your kind words........

I think the truck drove itself into the ravine because it was named Trixy.

All kidding aide, glad to see you're ok and that the F150 is so capable of protecting it's occupants in a nasty rollover!
