Tire pressure with + size tires.
Just got a set of 35x12.50x18's.......what type of pressure should I run? Obviously not the same as stock, and obviously not the max. pressure written on the sidewall. Just put it in the average of the two numbers or what?
I found this...but uh, anyone want to decode it for me? lol

My 35x12.50x18 Nittos are 10 ply and STIFF. The installer put 50psi in to start I believe, and it rode/drove soo much different (BAD). I have been running 38 in all four which have a max of 65 (pretty sure). Its been 10,000 miles, and I am happy with them. I was used to running about 5psi or so lower than max for gas mileage and wearing...but not with these stiff oversized puppies. Had a buddy of mine have to lower his psi also because of rough ride. Hope that helps ya.

Ive got about 60 or so in my 35x12.50 MT's. Ride feels fine to me, i used to run like 40 in my 33's with Nittos, and i started seeing wear on the edges of the tires before the middles so i uped it to 60 and they seemed to be wearing just right. So based on that i keep them like 5psi under max.
