I'm happy with Coverking covers for the price.
For a work truck, he might consider their 'ballistic' material, which is cordura and will be quite long-lasting.

I have the 'neosupreme' which is neoprene minus the rubber layer so it isn't so hot and can breathe a little better, and I like them.

As for getting him to join; uhhh... let's just say that he's not exactly 'computer literate'. I'll be emailing these over to another family member to print and take to him... ha!
