Why don't you go back to a diesel?

I'm digging the Lariat Limited, but it's only available with the 6.2 V8. As long as the 3.5 EB performs and nets better fuel mileage, I want the EB. I think I remember seeing that the Limited isn't available in SuperCrew/6.5' bed configuration either. Looks like I'll be driving a Lariat and doing some mods of my own!

Look at the Off Road Package 55A on page 23. Comes with 3.73 and e-locker and is available on the XLT, Lariat and King Ranch but not with 3.7L or 6.2L.

So I just get back from a week-long trip to Texas, and what do I find? The 2011 F-150, minus a whole lot of options that vehicles such as the 2011 Explorer and 2011 Edge have and we don't. No MyFord, no BLIS, no customizable dash screens, no Upfitter Switches... not even a USB port move from the bottom center stack to inside the console bin? Didn't Barritia teach you that one like, what, two weeks after the truck came out? Honestly... Plus the EcoBoost gets a tiny 26 gallon fuel tank and you can't get the spray-in liner on the Lariat or above trim levels. But we do get a 110 volt outlet. Thanks, Ford.... I guess.
Sorry, I know it sounds bad; and I certainly don't mean to be a downer, but.... c'mon Ford. Did you forget about the F-150 while you were making your amazing cars (mentioned above, which are very exciting - but not my F-150)? Geeeez.
At this point all we can hope for is a mid-cycle update in 2012 while they work on their all-new model for a few years down the road. Guess we'll see. Until then I look forward to seeing what the Platinum looks like in that new bronze color. I assume it's the same as you can get the new Edge in for 2011. The only thing that will make me happy about the '11 is if the EB has AMAZING MPG numbers to compensate for the tiny gas tank. MPG would most definately make me happy more than anything (although I still expect only 17MPG City at this time).

I know it is listed as a color option for the 2011 Expedition. I did not see it for the Edge, but I did not look at the various models on the Edge and I did with the Expy. I want Royal Red back!

I'm thinking this maybe the end of the KR. Limited colors - no reds, grays or silvers. Strike out the black and blue colors (not for me) and it leaves white, white or the new color golden bronze. And no 6.2L engine option????? Looks like the Platinum will be very popular - it's the entry point for a F150 w/6.2L engine.

Don't expect radical changes for the remainder of production in this generation going forward. Maybe some of those features you mentioned will make their way into the MY2012 production, to sweeten it to entice buyers before the next generation truck is rolled out.
