dont buy anything but these. people say that spacers are dangerous because they buy ****ty cheap ones like those in the link you posted. i have spacers on my truck, and i had spacers on my jeep. between both vehicles ive ran spacers for 60,000 miles without any issues. just make sure you instal them right with proper torque on the lugs and the heavy use of red loctite. break them free and reapply loctite and retorque them after the first 3000 miles after the lugs have stretched and fully seated.
you get what you pay for, and if you're paying less than 300 for a set of 4 spacers, you're not paying enough. get hubcentric too, it really helps
they arnt any worse for your bearings or anything on your truck than a set of heavy offset wheels are

I had 2" spacers from the website that marshal posted on my old F-250. It was a 2004 6.0 PSD with 38" tires...it was an 8000lb truck and I romped on it pretty good offroad, drove it all over and pulled a 6,000lb trailer quite often. I never had ONE issue from the spacers. A good quality set of hub centric spacers shouldn't give you any issues.
