SYNC and Apple iOS4.1 Software Update

The SYNC Engineering team has been working directly with Apple to improve the iPhone/iPod Touch experience with Sync. There have been some noticeable improvements, and now with the recent release of iOS4.1, we hope that you continue to share your compatibility experiences with SYNC and your Apple device in order to help us better troubleshoot concerns and resolve outstanding issues.
Please advise us of the features that do or do not work with SYNC, and if you would like additional troubleshooting tips, please refer to some previously mentioned steps in post 112 of this thread. Thanks again for your patience, and we appreciate all the feedback that you have given us so far.

i.OS 4.1 now supports AVRCP which features control (play/pause contro, track navigation, etc.) of your Bluetooth Audio (A2DP) music stream via your steering wheels controls!

What's mistakes are they? They use low quality dated hardware and sell it for good quality feature full prices! If the fanboys are willing to pay their asking prices for such locked down systems then that's their choice. By the way I own apple products. But I never pay full retail. They could learn a lot from Google and HTC.

iOS 4.1 still has that uncommanded play problem where Bluetooth audio plays your music files without the driver enabling it. Hey Apple, Mircrosft, it's a moving vehicle the whole point of Sync is to reduce driver distration, not increase it by doing things he doesn't command you to do.
