Maybe, maybe not on the prices. The supply has been adjusted to the new demand and dealers are not giving things away anymore, except the 2010 F-150s and 2010 Focuses. I don't see many 2011 Mustangs being given away, as the supply is fairly tight. And here in Texas, they are definately not giving the new Superduty away. The 2010 SD is a different story. $15K off.

 

You answered your own question. 2010's are selling at discount prices to make room for the 2011's. 2011's won't start selling for discounts until the end of the model year. You are probably right about inventory not being as big, but end of year discounts happen every year like clockwork

 

I really wonder if that is just a typo. The only difference in any of these 6 speed trannys should be the converter, stall rating.
