New overlays from patriot decals

Got my Ford emblem overlays. Overall I'm very happy with the product and I'm very impressed with their customer service. I emailed them a picture of what I wanted and they had them shipped out in less than a week.

Let's see if anyone recognizes what it stands for.

I'm pulling off the KC's because I'm just not happy with them. I hate the chrome, I considered painting them but decided against it. I'm probably going to go pick up two Hella 6" 500's and two Hella 500f and outfit all 4 with 4500k HID. Going to drill directly into the cross bar of bull bar and mount the outside two so they are pointed towards the ditches. Then I'll get all 4 mounted on the bar. (Even though someone said I couldn't)

Also I'm not happy with the shiney stainless steel from the tips so I'm either going to paint them black or cut the tips and tuck them up under the bed. Open to opinions there.

It means that you just identified yourself as a target for the criminals. But hey, maybe I am paranoid.

Yea, I've thought about that. As a cop you have to be plenty paranoid.

I live in a small town, everyone knows who I am and what I do for a living anyway. Anytime I go into the bigger cities the truck is never out of my sight or I take another vehicle.

I see the thin blue line stickers on an awful lot of vehicles and wonder how many are there because the owner who has nothing to do with law enforcement thinks he will less likely be pulled over for a traffic stop. I would also like to be a fly on the wall when they do get pulled over and are explaining to the officer why they have the sticker to begin with.

That actually draws more attention and you are more likely to be stopped for a violation. Reason being is because people put them on to avoid being stopped....usually there is a reason for that.

It's an ebay special bullbar. No idea on the brand but I paid $135 shipped.

On a side note, I got a little aggressive with the power washer and one of the decals ripped. My own fault. I pulled it off so I may end up pulling both off and painting the emblems black.
