Very observant. I was actually on RT 50 in Winchester VA. I bought the quad at Romney Cycles in Romney WV.

Rt 5/301 is a PITA. Those people have no clue how to drive!!

wow, glad you're all ok!

You should look into diminished value reimbursement because it was so new! (seriously)

-EDIT: I totally missed the mention of it earlier. d'oh!

Even if it is fixed to brand new condition, your truck has lost several thousand dollars of value. In almost every state you must disclose body repair when it is traded. I am not sue happy, but the responsible party owes you the depreciation that you have suffered. Give their insurance company a chance to man up and then go after them. They should consider themselves lucky that you do not have significant injuries and pay up.

Good thinking!! You know the laws. I already have a diminished value claim in the works!!

Thanks for the thought though

I'd want a new bed, not replacement panels. If it slid far enough forwards to hit the cab, then something is up with the bed floor. Those bolt holes don't have 2-3" of play in em, ya know?

I hear you on that. Thats what I originally wanted. The new bed assembly was like 3400. The RT bed side was 700. There was no way they would have replaced the whole bed.

The bed didn't flex. The frame rails do. They are designed to do that. The bed floor was pulled up a bit around the bolts. They repaired that though.

Do you have any pictures of the back end of the other truck (the 95)?

As for the car I see nothing wrong with the doors or cabin area, looks like she just drove under the truck and it peeled back the hood and everythign on top of the engine bay.

If that truck hit you that hard the second time, the girl in the jetta must have been going pretty fast.

I had a woman in a Ford Winstar hit me in my 2004 at ~45mph. My trailer hitch went through her engine block, both her doors were jammed shut and it totaled her van, less than 3K in damage to my 04.

When I saw the pic of the Sheetz I knew it looked familiar. Romney Cycles is a great place bought my second ATV (Suzuki Kingquad 500) there a few months back. Glad to hear everyone is safe, they don't say built Ford tough for nothing...
