so did so more reading on the paper work that was given to me and on one of the pages it said 2011 F150 based on 2010 Model Year Specifications and Equipment. So i guess its really a 2010. Original asking price with shipping was 36210 to Hawaii and i got it for 32210. I am just stoked i got new truck. I love my 2005 F150 and i figured a 2010 Crew Cab would be a perfect edition to the family. Thanks everyone for all the information. i greatly appreciate all the responses. Now all i need to figure out is which exhaust to buy.

Hey first time poster had to sign up to help answer this question. I myself had ordered a 2011 F-150 here in Iraq. What happens is they put the 5.4L on your price quote with an additional estimated $1,500 or something for the price difference between the 2010 and 2011. You then get approved for that amount and its set. Then when the hard Spec's for the 2011 come out it will automatically switch it from a 5.4L to 5.0!!! The good news no matter the price difference of the vehicles you only pay the original quote (very good deal) or if it comes out cheaper you pay the lower price. My order was in but, a 2010 FX4 came up with a price that I just couldn't pass up picking it up right before christmas. Goodluck to you on your purchase.
P.S. You can always swap vehicles up until the time your ordered vehicle leaves the factory so if a good deal comes up on another vehicle you can always change.

So, I got word from the exchange about my truck. They told me that my order will be placed with ford by the end of November or beginning of December. Since the 5.4 is being replaced in 2011. Is there any aftermarket support coming out for the 5.0? Looking at CAI, programmers. Would the exhaust for a 2010 f150 work or do I need to just wait and see what exhaust companies do as far as cat back systems?
