I noticed that my 2010 FX4 has a plastic gas pedal. Not a big deal, just feels cheap.

My buddy has a 2008 w/o adjustable pedals and his pedal is metal, with a much stiffer (read, "quality") feel. So do these trucks (2009/2010) come with a metal-pedal option? If so, is it possible to "downgrade" from the adjustable pedals.

Why did I get adjustable pedals? I really don't need them, but the rest of the truck was exactly what I wanted at a great price. Not complaining just wondering if this can be done.

Well you won't be able to put the "pedal to the metal" in your truck.
