Ford does have this available in the Fiesta

True HIDs, 36 Gallon EB engine combo, myTouch, LED tails, AWD in with Ecoboost option.

I want / need a new truck but was waiting on the engines, now I found out if I order the Platinum, I get chrome skull caps on the mirrors, and I hate the stupid tailgate banner on the back.

So to get the options I want I am stuck with a Harley Davidson or Limited, both which are not offered in any color I want. Nor can I get the 24 MPG ecoboost, come on Ford.

Just picked up my truck last week. Outside of already getting the bed sprayed with Line-X and putting a BakFlip cover on it, At this point I'm considering HID's and possibly a Ranch Hand bumper for insurance against deer hits.

How about an A/C unit that actually cools you down on an 90 degree day. That would be a plus.
Also, put a little more metal in the body panels or go to plastic bodies. These things are so thin, that they bend at the slightest thing. My tailgate is bent up and It is only 13 weeks old. The hood and front fenders are so thin, that I am afraid they might bend if I drive to fast. Truck feels really fragile to me because of that.

How about mirrors that stay in place when you open and close the door?

If the mirrors and tailgate are that important to you, just buy the Platinum and swap those two items with someone that wants to trade.

There ya go, perfect solution. I'm sure someone who couldn't afford a Plat would love to have the nice lux tailgate & shiny mirror caps and swap with you.

It doesn't say you can't get the trailer tow mirrors with the FX Luxury Package. It says you can't get the plain black ones.

Well on the order guide I cut & paste, thsoe are the only two sets of TT mirrors available PERIOD.

BTW, the dealer tryed to put in an order with as I stated earlier and the system would not allow it. Again (for 10th time) I hope I'm wrong here.

Power Kid,

Are the order guides 100% accurate? They did not list HD radio or remote start in the Canadian version. No HD radio listed in the US version. Canadian version mention EPS and the US version didn't. The dealer....he probably tried to add the mirrors without the heat, turn, memory but who knows? We'll find out soon enough.

Take a look at this.

From Edumund's build and price...FX LUXURY PKG

MAX TRAILER TOW PKG W/PWR MIRRORS
-inc: upgraded rear bumper, class IV trailer hitch receiver, 7-pin wiring harness, upgraded radiator, aux trans oil cooler, trailer brake control, SelectShift transmission, manually telescoping pwr heated side mirrors w/turn signals/puddle lamps
(REQ: 99T Engine) (REQ: XB6 3.73 Rear Axle)
(w/55F FX Luxury Pkg -inc: mirror memory feature)

PS From the U.S. order guide:

• XLT SuperCrew with P255/65R17 OWL A/S (T73) or L245/75R17E

FX4's should go to a straight axel, with manual locking hubs, for 4x4 LO. keep 4Hi on the fly. no more of this crappy vacuum, locking system.
