I went that route with the SCT custom tuned from VMP. The shifting is firmer, but the 1 to 2 and 2 to 1 can be trying sometimes. It still can't decide when to upshift and downshift. It was real comforting to find out that Ford redesigned the clutch pack between 1st and 2nd. Gives real hope they are working on a solution for the 09-10 owners.

Optimized wider ratio span allows a lower final drive ratio with outstanding off-the-line performance and improved fuel economy; new one-way clutch added for smoother 1-2 and 2-1 shifts

You guys might also want to try getting your tires road force balanced. My wife's Honda had a shimmy at 50 to 60 mph. The tires were just balanced by Costco. Took it to the local dealer and had them road force balanced for $68 and that solved the problem. They also found one of the tires actually defective and slightly egg shaped.

You can find a local tire store or dealer that can road force balance here:

Some yes, some no. A few said under slight braking, didn't specify speed. Just trying to help.

OK i did the ride along with a service writer and a tech so as we headed out of the service bay i mad it do the pulse thing all the way out the door and down the drive way. till the tech said know what you mean now. after two hours of phone tag and e-mails with a factory rep the dealer said that there was nothing that can be done. so i asked the service writer for factory reps phone number. so on my way home i called and called till i left 15 messages on how pissed and upset i was and how disappointed i was.
got home and found that (on my answering machine) thay would not be able to work on a update for the pcm till more info comes up . WTF is ford doing selling us a junk load of BS they got my money and don't got my back!

like i have said if it's raining p**** i will get hit in the head with a D***!
