Polarized Sunglasses

OK, here's an odd one...

I'm currently awaiting delivery on my new 2010 FX2 SCrew.

I need a new pair of sunglasses now, before it gets here.

In the past, I've had trouble with polarized sunglasses making the LCD radio display in previous vehicles difficult if not impossible to see.

Is this an issue with the radio or dash displays on the 2010 F-150s?

I know what you're talking about and mx52 is right. There is no issue. Welcome and enjoy the new ride!

I have a similar issue with my Oakley nanowire 3.0's, but with oakleys new polarization process the crosshair 2.0's and probations I have don't have any issues. They also don't produce the squares in windows or odd looking window tint older polarized glasses caused.

When I rode in an uncles platinum I noticed all this with the stock hu, and while driving my 05 with the avic D3

My shades make some vehicles have those squares, some vans' windshield turn purple, and such, but I have no problems with the F150

No trouble in my FX2. I have Arnette Polarized Sunglasses and yea have issues with my aftermarket Alpine deck and gauges in my car but none in the F150! So nice!! Cause i wont go to anything other than polarized glasses now. So much better for the eyes.

Give Kaenon Polarized a look as well if you have not already purchased.

Funny that you all mention this, when I was looking at trucks two years ago, I went to check out the new Dodge Ram. I hopped in a Laramie loaded with navi, and when I couldn't see the screen with my REVO's on, I told the dude he could keep it. That was the first thing I checked in the F150.

Any of my 3 pairs of spys makes certain color cars look color change through window tint, but I don't recall having any screen issues.

The only reason I originally asked this was my last Acura and I'm told that at least some BMWs show this on the displays. It's not a sign of a cheap display, it's just certain displays period.

It is definitely not a matter of cheapness in the display. It is a matter of orienting the polarized filter in the display in the proper orientation. Most manufacturers have taken care of this for GPS displays, ATM displays, Fuel pump, etc. so that the polarized filters in the display and the polarized filters in the sunglasses are aligned so as to not black out the display.
