Raptor fender flares on a FX4?

Wondering if anybody knows if the Raptor fender flares will fit an FX4 since the fenders are different. I looked at them up close on a Raptor and they seem like they would work. I like how they are bigger than the FX4s. I know I could always go with an aftermarket flare (would probibly be cheaper), but they just look really good on the truck.

There is a thread on Raptor conversions. Apparantly several large dealerships have taken Supercrews, lifted them and bolted on the Raptor bodywork. I don't think you would be able to do just the front fenders however.

That would be a no go.The raptor wheel openings are alot larger than the standard f150. We noticed this when we bolted my stock wheels on my buddies stx. You would need the fenders and bedsides.

I wonder how they did that? The raptor is 7 inches wider. They would have to do some very low backspaced wheels or something. Maybe the whole suspension, which would be crazy expensive to build.

Even if you could put these massive flares on your FX4, it wouldn't look right without a lift and larger tires.

I'm pretty sure they would look fine on my truck. The flares really aren't that massive, I've seen them in person. And I believe the Raptors have 35" tires as well as my truck. I looked at some bushwacker flares that look similar so I'll just have to go that route.

How do you like those Grabbers? Are those 35's? I've got the grabber AT and been thinking about getting those since they make the street legal version now.

On the Raptor that is wider and bulged out the flares look right. On a regular F150 it would look out of proportion. Bushwackers without a lift also do not look right to me. The 35's will help some.

If you had to have a supercrew then this was your only option until the 2011's hit the street.
