My 2010 FX4 SCREW w/mods

Hey guys here is my FX4. So far, I've added, the bug deflector, window visors, HD tail lights, bed extender, rhino, and bed cover. I have a couple of Hella lights that I want to mount in the front but don't know what kind of guard/bull guard/light bar I want to get. Do you have any suggestions, pictures/links would help. What do you have? I'd like to stay away from chrome and stick with flat black...Thanks.

Lookin' good amigo!
Talk to me about the Retrax bed cover! How do you like it?? Is there much space lost from the canister that receives the bed cover when its rolled back?
I want to put my dirt bike in the back. I usually cinch it down with the front wheel against the front of the bed. Is this possible with the retrax bed cover?
Your thoughts are appreciated.

Great looking ride. I don't usually like bug deflectors but it looks good on your truck and works with your color.

Hey guys thanks. DXB - The retrax bed cover is great. I love it. It's so easy to open and close and forget about what ever bad you hear about it. For me it's water tight. Some water drains into the canister when you open it, because it creates a gap when it rolls up, but there is a tube on the bottom of the canister that drains the water out of the bed. There is very little road noise, but only if you have the sliding rear window open and the radio off. Other than that you can't hear anything. You loose about 8 inches in the front of the bed, but it only goes half way down. So you still have room to slide things under the canister. I have the 5.5ft box, and got the bed extender, so my quad fits with no problem.

I'm really looking for a good front grill. So if you guys have any suggestions let me know.

TidalWave - I like your trial FX. I like that it's all black. Can I mount fog lights on it? Did you get to keep your tow hooks? Do you think it will hit my bug deflector?

Thanks. Yes, you can mount lights to it. It comes with two pre-drilled holes for that very purpose (it ships with rubber plugs in holes so it looks good until you mount lights). If you want to mount more than two lights, or mount them in other locations than the pre-drilled holes, you can easily drill out other holes.

Unfortunately, you don't get to keep your tow hooks. BUT, you can have them welded on to the grille guard assembly.

I seriously doubt that it will interfere with your bug deflector. Because the F150's grille is apart of the hood, the grille guard is designed to swing forward to miss the opening hood, and swing back to have that nice close fit. So long story short, you can adjust how close it fits. On that note, you should always carry around TWO 18mm wrenches because when the grille guard is flush with the F150's grille, you can't open the hood. Never been a problem for me as I keep a complete toolset in my toolbox, but something to be aware of

Also, you should search around this site for guys with 2009/2010s with black bull bars, like 96grimreaper's. I think they look pretty sweet as well:

EDIT: just noticed you have a front license plate, not sure how the bull bar would effect that. I imagine you can get some sort of plate adapter...just something to think about

Yeah...They came with the truck. I like the way they look, but I live in ND and really need the all weather ones. Any pointers on a front guard?
