Pretty much anything you can do to a 4wd one. I am pretty sure you can put a leveling kit on it, and lift kits if you want to. Upgrade stereo, engine mods, wheels and tires etc...
Basically how ever much your wallat can stand, you can do.

Dropped or level looks good. I wonder how much ground clearance and approach angle you loose with a 2/4 drop.

This is a cheap kit that supposedly gives 2wd clearance for 35s. Not sure if it's any good though.

I've got a similar truck. Ordered a HBS leveling kit and will add 33's when the stockers wear out. You can do pretty much the same things to it as any other truck out there.

Does the FX2 have the center column shifter or is it up behind the steering wheel?

For some reason, I like the shifter on the steering wheel. It feels more like a truck that way. Guess I'm weird.

I think the console and console-mounted shifter makes the interior look a little more refined. That being said, it took about 10k miles for me to finally stop reaching for the column shifter that isn't there, haha.
