Painting plastic black FX4 grille to oxford white

Why is it that Ford left the emblem grille black - looks like a work truck - thinking of painting the black plastic same color as my truck - oxford white. Anyone else did this?

Very possible, and will look real nice. On darker colored trucks the basic grill looks alright.

I really like it on the 06-08 FX4 Lux. Its painted gloss black. No faded plastic like my 04.
