Wanting to install a leveling kit... do that void any warranty?

Wanting to install a leveling kit... do that void any warranty?

will installing a leveling kit void any factory warranty?

Really it all depends on your dealer. Some say no, some say yes. The best bet is just ask your dealer.

The only thing it may impact would be warranty work on your suspension. If the mod didn't directly cause the failure, it will be repaired under warranty.

This is true plus there is a federal law about this as well. Has to be a direct link to that after market part.

Spend some time and read the details.

And while you're in the process of reading, read the details in your warranty book. You'll find some very specific things that Ford will not cover.

So can the void your warranty, yes they can. Can they deny coverage of repairs relating to your leveling kit, yes they can. But they too can and some do, cover repairs that may be related to the use of a leveling kit. But is it really their responsibility to replace that now bad ball joint or cv joint? I say no.

9 out of the 10 dealers I called said NO, it will not void any warrenty, as long as it is under 3" leveling kit. It will be best to call your local dealers and ask the question.
