New 2010 F150 XLT

As the title says new black 2010 XLT 5.4 4X4 with chrome, adjustable pedals, trailer brake, power seats and mirrors.

More of a car guy so I've been doing my home work just figured I would ask the truck guys and/or gals.... What to do first.

I saw the intake mods (Gotts..?) and will be looking into that as opposed to spending the money on a CAI. Exhaust is pretty straight forward but recommendations are always welcome. One thing I noticed is that I would normally head towards Diablo for tunes but don't see that as an option unless I missed something. Looking forward to tweaking the truck as I haven't been down this road before.

Nice, congrats.
I was shooting for Tux-black but ended up with dark grey, I'm happy with it.
No mods for me so can't answer the other.

Thanks, took a stroll by the dealership on 10/31, yep last day of the month gotta love that. I had it narrowed down to a grey one as I wasn't real concerned with the chrome and trailer brake and other stuff that is on this one, about an hour into it the sun came out and..... Well you know the rest. The Tuxedo sure did pop.

First thing I did to mine was get rid of the junk 235 Hanooks and put 275 BFG AT's, what a difference looks killer and ride improved, and now the speedo doesn't read low. Best part was since I did at 100 miles they gave me $90 each trade it for the old tires.

If you want an exhaust to rumble, you can get a cat back and go with a single in dual out setup or something like that. Don't go to big of pipe as you need to keep exhaust velocity up to keep low rpm torque numbers up there.
Don't expect a lot of gains from the exhaust as these trucks run such low rpm at highway speeds. Don't need a big exhaust for 1800 to 3200 rpm.

I think the best thing to do is a tune. I got this truck after having chevy's for 8 years. I to thought Diablo would be it, but they are not. Edge Evolution and something called a Gryphon, but I have no idea what that is, but I sure some of the guys on here can explain what a Gryphon is. Supposed to be a good tuner for Ford.
Congrats.

Yep, exhaust may even come before the tanneau cover. Friggin truck is quieter than my 550i. That's a good thing, dont get me wrong.

Shocked that Diablo doesn't have tunes for this truck. Been pretty happy with their options on various cars. I like the Trinity and have had great luck with it in the past.

No hooks, 18's with chrome.

Going to head over and take a look at the Edge.
