I just had a chat with Kevin at AutoSpring yesterday. I showed him pics of my truck and the ball joint angles to see what he thought. Immediately he said the angles of the joints were way too much.

Since my 5100's will be delivered this week sometime, he suggested just taking off the 2" ProComp spacer and use the Bilsteins to level out the truck. He said no need to even buy his AS spacer as the Bilsteins will do the job. So hopefully this will be done Sat. and I'll be able to give you a first hand review.

Here's an old article I found yesterday about the 5100's

Heard any issues with the 2wd lower spring seat being welded on? I've read a few places that this might be the case.

absolutely not. I just popped mine off with two easy blows of a hammer. the silver ring on top of the shock needs to come off as well and it too just pops off with a few blows. piece o cake

Spacer is gone and the 5100's are on. The ride is night and day difference. Very happy, although with the spring perch set at 2.25" the ball joint angles are still the same. I may end up bringing it back down to the next notch just for peace of mind. That would make it 1.5" higher than stock 4x4 height.

UPDATE: Ive finally got some larger tires on the truck with 33". My mods might not be too extream, but I think my before and afters show a pretty big difference. ANd sorry about the picture quality, its just too easy to snap shots on the iPhone, and its dirty, its just too cold out to go wash it today.
Before, no mods:

After, 2" level with 4WD shock and struts, Top Gun Baja Bumper, Smoked Heads and Tails, Hella 6" Off-Road lights X2 , OEM 20" FX4/Lariat Wheels, Reflectors MIrror mod (waiting to buy the blinkers to finish the mod-front and back of mirror.), I think thats it.

Some sharp trucks on here!

- Blackout yours looks damn nice, its got a nice stance and that wheel/tire combo looks mean! I love white trucks and blacked out windows and the white too black accent.
-What did you do to get that stance, cause it still looks close to level even with 2 inch rear blocks.
Would you ever consider going higher with it even though its 2wd? I find I dont like a hugely lifted 2wds just a nice high sitting stance..
